The Department of Energy (DOE) is calling out all Solar PV Installers to register and be included on its Solar Photovoltaic Registry. The Registry or list shall serve as a reference and guidance for all government entities, pursuant to the IAEECC Resolution No. 08 of 2023.
Applicants are expected to have the following:
- competent and have the necessary training to enable me to satisfactorily and safely install / commission equipment
- have achieved certification from an accredited training provider
Moreover, accepted installers in the registry may be subject to inspections by the DOE. DOE may also de-register installers where the DOE has evidence of repeated failures on the part of installers to deliver quality work or give customer satisfaction.
