DOE issues Application call for the Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Registry

The Department of Energy (DOE) is calling out all Solar PV Installers to register and be included on its Solar Photovoltaic Registry. The Registry or list shall serve as a reference and guidance for all government entities, pursuant to the IAEECC Resolution No. 08 of 2023.

Applicants are expected to have the following:

  • competent and have the necessary training to enable me to satisfactorily and safely install / commission equipment
  • have achieved certification from an accredited training provider

Moreover, accepted installers in the registry may be subject to inspections by the DOE. DOE may also de-register installers where the DOE has evidence of repeated failures on the part of installers to deliver quality work or give customer satisfaction.
